Returns & Refund Policy

At The Cake Print Studio, many of our products are personalised and/or made to order specifically for each customer. Please read our returns and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

Personalised & Made-to-Order Products

As personalised and made-to-order products are created specifically for you, we do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations due to change of mind once an order has entered production.

This includes personalised edible cake toppers, photo toppers, custom designs, products containing names, ages, dates or messages, and any other item made to a customer's specifications.

Personalised and made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right applicable to many online purchases. This does not affect your statutory rights if your product is faulty, damaged, not as described or is not delivered.

Please Check Your Personalisation

Customers are responsible for checking all information submitted with an order, including names, ages, dates, wording, spelling, photographs and delivery details.

We cannot accept responsibility for errors contained in information supplied by the customer.

If we make an error when producing your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange the appropriate remedy.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs of the product and packaging where applicable.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights. This may include a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Lost or Undelivered Orders

If your order has not arrived, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery.

Where an order is confirmed as lost or cannot be delivered, we will provide the appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

The Cake Print Studio is responsible for goods until they are delivered to you, or to a person nominated by you to receive them.

Delivery Delays

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed with us.

Postal and courier delays can occasionally occur outside our control. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights regarding late or non-delivery.

Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

If an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, additional postage charges may apply if the order needs to be resent.

This does not affect your rights where a delivery problem was caused by an error on our part.

Colours & Customer-Supplied Images

Colours may vary slightly between what is displayed on a screen and the final printed product due to differences in screens, printing processes and edible printing materials.

The quality of personalised photo products will depend on the quality and resolution of the image supplied by the customer.

Reasonable variations in colour or image appearance that do not make the product faulty or materially different from its description are not considered defects.

Edible Products

Due to the nature of edible products and for food safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns of edible products that have been opened, handled or used.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, unsafe or not as described.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued to the original payment method used to place the order.

Once processed by us, the time taken for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Any refund required under applicable consumer law will be processed within the legally required timeframe.
